This Division will be involved in creating a strong base for making science communication integral to the STI ecosystem and as a field of practice.

Studies will be undertaken towards creating capacity and development of human resource in this area in the country through different channels of communication.

The vertical will also have a strong outreach as well as various modes for experts’ interactions. Cross-disciplinary research in areas such as publication ethics, citizen science projects, regional science communication through regional centres in CSIR Labs will be some of the areas covered under this vertical.
